Zeta Psi Fraternity. Tau Chapter (Lafayette College)
The Tau Chapter of Zeta Psi was founded October 2, 1857 at Lafayette College, Easton, PA. Charter members were Charles Stewart McCormick, William Alfred Wurts, Isaac X. Grier, and Jacob Augustus Miller. The Tau Chapter Association was founded and incorporated under the laws of Pennsylvania in 1904. A chapter house was built on the campus of Lafayette College in 1909-1910, and later placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001because of its architectural and historical significance. Zeta Psi is the second oldest fraternity at Lafayette College.
