Meryl Tankard Company
Variant namesMeryl Tankard, dancer and choreographer, took over the role of artisitic director of the Human Veins Dance Theatre in Canberra in 1989. Between 1989 and 1992 the renamed Meryl Tankard Company created a range of works that reflected Tankard's highly individualistic style. Tankard remained with the Company until late 1992. In 1993 she became artistic director of the Australian Dance Theatre in South Australia and renamed it the Meryl Tankard Australian Dance Theatre.
