The Office for Educational Programs delivers student-centered educational programs based on active learning principles that enable graduates to become leaders in public health research and practice; Continuously informs and updates educational goals and objectives to reflect new knowledge generated by research and cutting edge public health practice as defined by the profession, including alumni, employers, field preceptors, and academe; through advising and career mentoring, effectively blends the interests of the students and the demands of the marketplace to produce leaders in practice and research; and supports faculty as they incorporate active learning methods into the classroom, design courses that are tied to the career needs of students, and continuously improve their teaching based on well-designed feedback and teaching support programs.
