Harrington, James, 1795-1878.
Born in Old Marlboro, Mass. in 1795. Served as a drummer boy in the War of 1812 regiment of Col. Bellinger, stationed at Sackett's Harbor, N.Y., in 1814. Moved to Buffalo in 1815; worked as a sailor on the Great Lakes, as a stage driver and as an agent for the Michigan Central Railroad.
