White, Mary Avery, 1778-1860.
Mary Avery White (1778-1860) was the eldest child of the Rev. Joseph Avery (1751-1824) of Holden, Mass., and the wife of Aaron White, Jr. (1771-1846), a farmer and storekeeper in Boylston, Mass., whom she married in 1798. They had three daughters and seven sons, among whom were several successful merchants and millowners.
