Dorothy Jarnagin, daughter of Milton P. Jarnagin, was an exchange student in Germany in 1938-1939. She stayed on to work at the U.S. consulate in Stuttgart, leaving Europe from Italy in October 1939. Dorothy Jarnagin married Duncan Burnet.
