Iowa City Woman's Club.
The Iowa City Woman's Club formed in 1922 to provide service to the community. It was affiliated with the Iowa Federation of Women's Clubs, and the national General Federation of Women's Clubs. Through its garden, home, literature, public welfare, and social science departments the club sought to promote the public welfare. The club pursued projects such as scholarships, art education, conservation and town beautification.
