DeLany, W. S. (Walter Stanley), 1891-1980
Variant namesWalter Stanley DeLany was born January 21, 1891, in Reading, Pennsylvania. He served as commander of Destroyer Division Seven, Battle Force from 1938 to 1939, and was promoted to rear admiral in May 1942. He retired as a vice admiral in February 1953. DeLany died on September 21, 1980.
