Sioux City and Northern Railroad Company.
Incorporated in 1887 under the laws of the state of Iowa, the company purposed to construct and operate a rail line from Sioux City northward into Minnesota. In 1890 the line from Sioux City (Iowa) to Garretson (S.D.), was placed in operation. In 1893 the company was placed in receivership, and in 1900 the line was conveyed to the Willmar and Sioux Falls Railway Company.
