Carmouche, Virginia Lanier Martin, 1923-
Variant namesBorn Virginia Martin in Thibodaux, La., in 1923, Carmouche followed family tradition and attended LSU on a legislative scholarship. She graduated with the class of 1944 and went on to law school. She has been a member of the board of the LSU Foundation as well as being an active member of the LSU Alumni Association.
