Lewis, Faye Cashatt
Variant namesAuthor and doctor. Faye Cashatt Lewis was born in Carroll County, Iowa and migrated in childhood to South Dakota. She graduated from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion, and then received her degree in medicine from Washington University in St. Louis. She practiced medicine for a number of years (1943-1969) and also published a number of books about her experiences.
