Motherkiln Monthly Meeting (Society of Friends : Hicksite)
Motherkiln Monthly Meeting was established in 1788 by Western Quarterly Meeting from a division of Duck Creek Monthly Meeting. The meeting removed to Camden (Del.) in 1824. At the time of the Hicksite Separation of 1827, the monthly meeting split into Hicksite and Orthodox branches. In 1830, Motherkiln Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) merged with Duck Creek Monthly Meeting to form Camden Monthly Meeting.
