Dalton, Albert C. (Albert Clayton)
Albert C. Dalton was a United States Army officer who rose from sergeant to brigadier general. He had a long service with the Infantry and the Quartermaster Corps (1889-1926); was general superintendent of the Army Transport Service and Quartermaster of the Port of Embarkation of New York (1917-1918); was an Assistant Quartermaster General and became vice president and general manager of the United States (U.S.) Shipping Board Merchant Fleet Corporation.
