Griswold, Harriet Ford, 1904-

Civic worker (Stanford, A.B., 1928), Griswold contracted polio in 1939 and thereafter was active in promoting programs for the handicapped, serving as trustee or advisor to various organizations and agencies. She married Erwin Griswold in 1931, and has also been a children's librarian, author and lecturer.
