Greene, Wesley H. (Wesley Hammond), 1907-1997.
Film distributor and producer. Wesley Hammond Greene (1907-1997) received his M.A. from the University of Virginia, and founded the International Film Bureau (IFB) in 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. Greene produced and distributed 16mm educational films for use in K-12 and colleges and universities. In addition to his accomplishments with the IFB, Greene helped to popularize 16mm film and its use as a teaching tool and an entertainment medium.
