Maier, Max Hermann
Max Hermann Maier (born in Frankfurt am Main in 1891) was the son of Hermann Maier, director of the Frankfurt branch of the Deutsche Bank. He was a soldier in World War I. After the war he worked as a lawyer in Frankfurt am Main. In 1936 Maier became the legal advisor of the "Hilfsverein der deutschen Juden" in Hesse and organized Jewish emigration. In 1938 he emigrated to Brazil.
