Ashley family.
Chiefly residents of Freetown, Mass.; including Abraham Ashley (1743-1824), farmer and operator of sawmill; his second wife, Hannah Crapo Ashley (1758-1843), was born in Rochester, Mass.; their son Noah Ashley (1792-1834); Winslow and Whittaker family members are related by marriage to the Ashley family.
