Wheeler, Charles Brewster, 1865-1946
Charles Brewster Wheeler (b. May 3, 1865, Matteson, Ill.-d. April 11, 1946, Wayland, Mass.), Brigadier General in the U.S. Army, graduated from West Point in 1887. He served as chief ordnance officer in the Philippine Division and as commander of the Manila Ordnance Depot. Later he was chief ordnance officer for the American Expeditionary Force. He retired in September 1919.
