Mowle, P. C. (Percival Conrad), 1872-1951
Variant namesMember of Marine Board of N.S.W.; editor of Pioneer Families of Australia; grandson of S.M. Mowle (1822-1908) who married Mary, daughter of T.B. Wilson, and leased land on the Molongo River where Canberra now stands. S.M. Mowle became Usher of the Black Rod to Legislative Council, N.S.W. 1883, after being employed in the Civil Service as a Customs Officer at Twofold Bay.
