Salkeld, John, 1709-
Variant namesJohn Salkeld was a Quaker, born in 1709, the son of John and Agnes Salkeld. A member of Chester Monthly Meeting, he married Elizabeth Worrall in 1731. He was disowned in 1753 for joining the Church of England.
