O'Neill, John, 1822-1905.

John O'Neill (1822-1905) was a congressman from Zanesville. He moved to Zanesville in 1844, and practiced law. He was chosen as prosecuting attorney of Muskingum Count in 1845. He served in other county government positions before being elected as a democrat to Congress from 1863 to 1865, representing Muskingum and several other counties of Southeastern Ohio.
