St. Mary's Church (Busselton, W. A.)
St Mary's Church, the oldest stone church in Western Australia, was opened in April, 1845, by the much respected Chaplain of the District, the Rev. J. R. Wollaston after many years of fund raising. Church of England services were held in Western Australia from the colony's inception in 1829. The Church of England in Australia was established in 1962 and, in 1981, became the Anglican Church of Australia.
