Taylor family.
Joseph F. Taylor, youngest son of Lazarus and Hannah Bradford Taylor, was born 27 March 1767 in Fauquier County, Virginia. On 17 June 1784 he arrived in Lexington, Kentucky, after a two week trip in a pirogue with other pioneers. Taylor married Nancy Howard (1770-1850) of Woodford County, Kentucky, on 8 May 1790 in Woodford County, Kentucky. The couple reared seven children. He died 17 August 1851 in Troy, Woodford County, Kentucky, and is interred in Mitchell Cemetery in Woodford County, Kentucky.
