Denebrink, Francis C. (Francis Compton), 1896-1987
Variant namesFrancis Compton Denebrink was born June 22, 1896, in Chicago, Ill. He received his commission as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy in 1917, and graduated from the Naval War College in 1932. He advanced to the rank of rear admiral in April 1944, then to vice admiral in December 1952. Denebrink died on April 8, 1987, in San Francisco, California.
