Iowa Methodist School of Nursing (Des Moines, Iowa)
The Iowa Methodist School of Nursing operated in Des Moines from 1901 to 1999 in affiliation with Iowa Methodist Hospital (name changed to Iowa Methodist Medical Center in 1975). An affiliated alumni association was formed. June Lowe Beals, alumni association historian, compiled a history of the school which was published in 1999 under the title: Caring, the heart of a nurse : a history of Iowa Methodist School of Nursing, 1901-1999.
