Hildt, George H.

In April 1861 George H. Hildt was mustered in Co. F, 16th Ohio Volunteer Infantry and later joined the 30th O.V.I. where he reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Was engaged in the Battles of Antietam, Kennesaw Mountain, and Milliken's Bend; and the sieges of Vicksburg and Atlanta.
