Hopkins, Emma Santee.
Emma Santee Hopkins and her husband Alva A. Hopkins were booked for passage on the Titanic. They were not satisfied with their stateroom, and instead traveled on the R.M.S. Mauretania the following day. An account of the Hopkins' narrow escape later appeared in the NEW YORK TRIBUNE under the title "A Woman's Intuition."
