Merron, Hugh O.

The glass plate stereoview slides and viewer were purchased by Hugh O. Merron in Paris, France. Merron served in the American Expeditionary Forces stationed in France during World War I. He was in the Foot Bound Infantry. Merron was born in Syracuse, New York on February 12, 1894. He and his wife, Berdella, did not have children. In the 1930 census, Merron was living in Detroit, Michigan, and was the owner of a grocery store. Merron was a member of the Masonic Order in Detroit, Michigan. He died on Feb. 1, 1966.
