Miller, Christian, 1896-1957
Born in Norway, emigrating to the U.S., with his parents in 1907; drafted in 1918 and served in the Coast Artillery Corps in the Canal Zone; graduated from Valparaiso University in 1926 and earned an M.A., from University of Chicago in 1929; taught at the College of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash., and served as registrar, 1931-1946.
