Jarvis family.
James W. Jarvis was a shipping commissioner and the father of school teacher Annie Jarvis Howell (1896-1987) and Norman Donald Jarvis (b. 1899), a member of the the U.S. Navy Hospital Corps during World War I and later a fishery technologist with the U.S. Dept. of the Interior.
