Noyes, George Boardman, 1837-1927
Variant namesGeorge B. Noyes, the son of David J. Noyes and Nancy Barney Noyes, was born on April 6, 1837, in Atkinson, Maine. He served as a hospital steward in the 11th Maine Infantry Regiment in the Civil War. He graduated from the Medical School of Maine at Bowdoin College in 1866 and established a medical practice in Stonington, Maine. He died on July 31, 1927, in Stonington.
