Potter, James L. (James Lain)
Variant namesJames S.H. Potter graduated from the Eclectic Medical College in 1894, having studied under John Uri Lloyd. Leaving his hometown of Hamilton, Ohio, he moved to Baltimore in 1895, where he established a successful practice. In 1932, he took a road trip to the Hamilton, Cincinnati, and Northern Kentucky area, visiting especially the sites of "Stringtown-on-the-Pike."
