Trustee of Ramanascho Land Trust/Kennebunk Land Trust from 1985-1991; resident of Kennebunk, Me., area. Kennebunk Land Trust, originally known as the Ramanascho Land Preservation Trust was founded in 1972 to preserve and protect significant natural spaces in the Kennebunk/Arundel, Me., region. As one of southern Maine's oldest working land trusts, the Trust has preserved over 3400 acres of forest, fields, and waterways, including 1600 acres of the Kennebunk Plains. Of these preserved lands, more than 300 acres are conservation easements for private landowners.
