Variant namesIncorporated in 1917 as an Orthodox afternoon Hebrew school. It later merged with the Oheb Zedek School (1948), the Torah Institute of the Telshe Yeshivath (1949), and the Kinsman, Marmarosher, and Heights Jewish Centers in 1951, 1956 and 1958 respectively.
