When John F. Cuneo Sr. died in 1977 he stated in his will that his mansion in Vernon Hils, Illinois, was to be used for "eductional purposes" after his wife no longer used the house. Following Mrs. Cuneo's death the mansion became part of the Cuneo Foundation and was turned into a historic house museum in 1990. These records were created by various directors and staff at the Cuneo Museum and Gardens.
