Congregational church in Concord, Mass., established by constitution in 1826 as "the Second Congregational and the First Calvinistic Religious Society" by a group of individuals breaking away from the Unitarianism of the First Parish in Concord. In the constitution of 1839, referred to as "the 2nd Congregational and 1st Trinitarian Society of Concord." The first church building of the Trinitarian Congregational Church was erected on Walden Street in 1826 and dedicated in December of that year. The building was destroyed by fire in 1924 and rebuilt in 1925-1926.

(Cont.) dedication ceremonies took place in Oct. of 1926. In 1955-1956, an educational wing was added. Anniversary celebrations took place in 1876, 1926, 1951, and 1976.
