Petigru and King (Firm)
Law firm of James Louis Petigru (1789-1863) and Mitchell King (1783-1862) who practiced in Charleston, S.C.; King, a native of Scotland, also served as a teacher and principal at the College of Charleston, in addition to his career as a lawyer and judge of city court.
