Poteat, Hubert McNeill, 1886-1958
Dr. H.M. Poteat was an alumnus of Wake Forest College (Class of 1906), professor of Latin and head of the Classics Department, Wake Forest College for 44 years; a Latin scholar, author, organist, Grand Master of the North Carolina Lodge and Past Potentate of the Sudan Temple of the Shrine.
