Tasker, Lawrence H.
Little is known about Lawrence H. Tasker, except that he owned land in Pompton, New Jersey, and that he ordered a detailed survey of this property in 1911. By August of the same year, Tasker sold his land to Heitaro Fujita. In 1918, the Honorary Shuh Tomi of the Japanese Consul General explored the possibility of turning Fujita's property into a residential park. In order to gain approval for this plan, the land first needed to be researched and surveyed, this time by Joseph P. Day. The decision was later made not to convert the property into a scenic park.
