Irvine, Edith.

Edith Irvine, 1884 1949, was born in the small mining community of Sheep Ranch, California, the second child of Thomas Hanna Irvine, a successful gold miner, and Mary Irene Hills. Her photographic efforts were largely unknown, except to family and friends, during her lifetime. She was an amateur photographer of considerable skill, but a school teacher by profession.
