Milton Mining and Water Company.
History
In 1880 one of California's principle water ditches belonged to the Milton Mining and Water Company. One hundred miles long, it conveyed water to the Milton Mine for the company's hydraulic mining activities. Three dams, forming the English reservoir, were also owned by the company.
