Haynes, Inez.

Inez Haynes began her career in the Army Nurse Corps Reserve in 1932, and came on active duty the following year. During World War II (WWII), she served as stateside operating room nursing supervisor at Walter Reed Hospital, with the 191st General Hospital in the European Theater, and the 231st General Hospital in the Far East. Among many post-war assignments was tenure as chief, Army Nurse Corps (1955-1959), from which she retired.
