Wednesday Morning Club (Boston, Mass.)
The Wednesday Morning Club, a women's club, was founded in Boston in 1869 to hold "conversationals" for the "intellectual advancement of [its] members." Full-length papers on art, history, literature, and geography were presented after 1883. The club was disbanded in 1945.
