Historic Tampa-Hillsborough County Preservation Board
Variant namesOne of seven major historic preservation boards created within the Department of State pursuant to Chapter 266, F.S. for the purpose of acquiring, maintaining, restoring, and preserving the sites, buildings, landmarks, and other materials of historical significance within the State of Florida. In the City of Tampa, historic preservation is accomplished by means of three distinct architectural boards and commissions responsible for reviewing and monitoring development within historic districts. These boards are comprised of the Architectural Review Commission, the Historic Preservation Commission, and the Barrio Latino Commission.
