Sneed, Edgar J. (Edgar James), 1888-

Sneed attended training for a U.S. Army officers commission at Fort Sheridan (1917), was commissioned as Lieutenant on Nov. 27, 1917 and was sent to France where, as an intelligence officer, he organized an intelligence office at Nevers, France as part of the A.E.F. (1918-1919). He was discharged June 2, 1919 as a 2nd Lieutenant. Ordered to active duty from the reserves Nov. 16, 1928 and assigned for training at Fort Douglas, Utah.
