Spencer Family.

The Spencers were a middle class family who lived in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Shadyside during the late nineteenth century. This family was the subject of the Spencers of Amberson Avenue, written by Ethel Spencer. George Reiter (1843-1930) was an officer in the U.S. Navy and first cousin to Mary Acheson Spencer.
