Variant namesIn 1947 a team of five doctors was sent to the territory of Alaska for a one-month survey of the health status of the native population. Dr. Arthur Bernstein, a well-known Chicago internist, was head of the team appointed by the Advisory Committee of the American Medical Association to the Dept. of the Interior.
