Cocke, James W.
James W. Cocke, a Nashville, Tenn., native, was a career military man in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of lieutenant colonel. He was Professor of Military Science and Tactics in the Army R.O.T.C. at Vanderbilt University from 1954-1957.
