Mary Marjorie Adeline Campbell was the sister of Penn State architectural professor, David Archibald Campbell, and a descendent of Polish Baron Charles Treziyulny, an early settler of Philipsburg, Pennsylvania and canal commissioner. She graduated from Philipsburg High School in 1922 and later that year she resided in State College, Pennsylvania, and later worked as a secretary for the Pennsylvania State College. Her last job at the College was as the secretary for the Petroleum Refining Laboratory during the 1940/41 school year. She later moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
