Charleston, South Carolina resident. Lydia Jane Ball married Francis Malbone Waring (1804-1839) and had three children, John B. Waring, Ann Simons Waring, and Francis Malbone Waring. Her brother was Keating Simons Ball (1818-1891), owner of Comingtee Plantation. Ann Ball Deas was the wife of Dr. Elias Horry Deas.
